Our ChillOut home on the Nile is NUUN Dahabeya, an intimate traditional wooden sailing vessel with just 8 cabins for a maximum of 16 guests.
With warm wooden interiors, comfortable cabins, and spacious open-air decks, NUUN brings the charm of classic Nile sailing to life.

Arrival & Nubian Rhythms
Arrival & Welcome Aboard: Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, transfer to our Dahabeya. Settle into your cabin before gathering for a welcome lunch, a short briefing, and time to get to know your fellow travelers.
Philae Temple & Sunset on the Nile: In the afternoon, visit Philae Temple, followed by a peaceful boat ride around the island as the sun sets over the Nile.
Dinner & Nubian Folklore: Return to the Dahabeya for dinner, followed by a live performance of traditional Nubian music, bringing the rhythms and spirit of southern Egypt on board.
Overnight: A peaceful first night aboard the Dahabeya in Aswan.
Sailing & Riverside Life
Breakfast & Sailing to Kom Ombo: Begin the morning with breakfast aboard NUUN as we sail north along the Nile, arriving at Kom Ombo for a guided visit to its remarkable riverside temple.
Lunch & Slow Sailing: Continue sailing north while enjoying lunch on board, surrounded by peaceful landscapes, palm-lined shores, and everyday life along the river.
Ramady Island & Local Life: Arrive at Ramady Island for an authentic countryside experience. Explore the farmland, meet a welcoming local family, and take part in a traditional bread-baking activity while discovering the simple rhythms of rural life.
Riverside BBQ Dinner: As evening falls, enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ dinner by the Nile, beside our Dahabeya, followed by a peaceful overnight stay on board.
A Day on the Nile
Slow Morning & Breakfast: Wake up to peaceful river views and enjoy a leisurely breakfast as NUUN continues sailing north.
A Day of Sailing: Spend the day embracing the gentle rhythm of the Nile, passing lush farmland, palm-lined shores, and quiet riverside villages. Unwind on the open-air deck, read, or simply watch life unfold along the riverbanks.
Lunch on Board: Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while sailing through the ever-changing landscapes of Upper Egypt.
Afternoon Tea: Pause for traditional afternoon tea on the open-air deck, surrounded by the peaceful scenery and gentle sounds of the Nile.
Sunset & Dinner: As the afternoon fades, settle in for a relaxed evening and dinner aboard, arriving in Esna for a peaceful overnight stay.
From Esna to Luxor
Early Morning in Esna: Begin the day with a peaceful walking tour through the charming streets of Esna, discovering its traditional markets, local architecture, and everyday life, along with a visit to the Temple of Khnum.
Breakfast & Sailing: Return to NUUN for breakfast before passing through the Esna Lock and continuing our journey north toward Luxor.
Lunch on the Nile: Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board as we sail through the beautiful landscapes of Upper Egypt.
Discovering Luxor: Upon arrival in Luxor, explore the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples with our local guide, discovering the stories and grandeur of ancient Thebes.
Dinner & Overnight: Return to the Dahabeya for dinner and a relaxed final evening aboard, overnight in Luxor.
Sunrise Over Luxor & Farewell
Sunrise Hot Air Balloon: Begin the day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over Luxor’s West Bank, taking in breathtaking views of the Nile, ancient temples, and surrounding landscapes.
Breakfast on Board: Return to NUUN for a relaxed breakfast before setting off to explore Luxor’s West Bank.
Discovering the West Bank: Visit the Valley of the Kings and the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, accompanied by our local guide.
Farewell & Departure: Return to the Dahabeya for check-out, bringing our five-day journey along the Nile to a close.

- More than 28 days before the trip date, 10% of the total amount will be charged.
- 28 to 14 days before the trip date, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- Less than 14 days before the trip date, there will be no refund available.
