Arrival into Stillness
- Private Charter Flight & Transfer: Fly privately as a group from Cairo to Kharga Airport, with the aircraft fully chartered exclusively for our guests. Upon arrival, continue together by comfortable, air-conditioned buses across the desert to Dakhla Oasis.
- Arrival & Lunch: Arrive at Al Tarfa Lodge, also fully chartered exclusively for our group. Settle in, unwind, and absorb the quiet, unspoiled atmosphere of the oasis.
- Afternoon Unwind: Enjoy the afternoon at your own pace—wander through the lodge, take in the oasis views, or simply rest and slow down.
- Dinner & Introduction: Gather for an intimate evening meal and meet Wael Abed, Al Tarfa’s visionary desert explorer. Hear a few relaxed stories from his decades of roaming Egypt’s Western Desert—shared softly, just enough to awaken your sense of adventure.
History & Healing
- El Qasr Tour: After breakfast, visit El Qasr, a beautifully preserved Islamic city. Wander through its narrow lanes, absorb the old-world atmosphere, and discover local crafts and traditions.
- Lunch & Leisure: Return to Al Tarfa Lodge for a relaxed lunch, followed by free time to rest and enjoy the calm of the oasis.
- Evening Hot Springs: After dinner, unwind with a soothing dip in a natural hot spring—an unhurried moment of warmth and silence, perfect for ending the day.
Dunes & Farewell
- Easy Start: Ease into the morning with a leisurely breakfast. Enjoy a gentle stroll around the grounds or relax in one of the lodge’s quiet, cozy corners.
- Lunch & Desert Picnic: Recharge with lunch, then set out by 4×4 into the desert to catch the sunset over the dunes. Pause for a simple, scenic picnic—unhurried, quiet, and beautifully placed.
- Farewell BBQ: Return to Al Tarfa Lodge for a farewell barbecue dinner under the stars, sharing stories, laughter, and a final evening of desert warmth.
Gentle Return
- Final Breakfast: Greet the day with one last, calming breakfast at Al Tarfa Lodge.
- Departure: Bid farewell to Dakhla Oasis and depart by comfortable, air-conditioned buses to Kharga Airport, then continue by private charter flight back to Cairo—carrying home the relaxed spirit of the desert.
